Michigan Weather For You…

So, on Monday, the 16th, if I have the date correct we had this in our yard…

...SNOW!!!

And more snow…

...getting ready to go to work...light coming up...

And, then I was off…

...to work.

And, today, only a week or so later…we have had Tornado Warnings and Watches in and near our area…check these pics out…

Really beautiful with a ominous feel!

Spooky!! Wind was blowing pretty good but was moving NorthEast from us basically at the time. As I'm posting this though sirens just went off, but think we'll be ok in our immediate area. Ok...they just stopped!

Here are some more shots…I saw lightening but never got those shots.

This was the radar for us as I was going in and out taking pictures-EEEK!!

More sun but still dark clouds...it was like this - ever changing every 5 minutes...

...then it turned to this again.

At any rate, we really missed the hail, which others got around us, and no tornado actually hit, so, I am thankful…we do have the tornado watch through 10:00 PM.  I’m praying that it will not come to that for anyone!

Coloring Easter Eggs!!

So, we embarked on the activity of coloring Easter eggs today…:)

A Rose is Just a Rose…

I started a rosebush in the house about a month ago…maybe two…it was like a few inches tall…then it grew…

...now it's TALL!!!

I started seeing color…

...a few days ago...

...and even more color today:)

All in one day…

Yesterday was beyond beautiful…84 degrees – actually HOT!  This is summary of day w/o the details:)

Looks like I'm in Nebraska, but noooo just headin' up US31 to...

...here, Grand Haven...

...beyond a perfect day to do a little sightseeing...windy though, and this is the state park campground...it's ALL sand...like no blockage...not sure if I'd camp here...need a little more trees and such for me, but it gets packed in summer...

...this is driving away out of the downtown and campground area...you can see the waves rolling...all be it blurry as I'm driving...

...this is like one of my favorite houses as your driving out of the beach area...they have great view of the big lake, but I'm sure the traffic is a bear as this road is your direct link to US 31.

Real quick...here's a clearer picture of beach...lots of sand before the water.

This is the opposite of the beach in Grand Haven...hills with houses and rentals...lots of sand blows this way:)

So, I got home after enjoying the beautiful morning...and spent some time getting some Vitamin D with my lovely friends, Amanda and Jill, with their kiddies:)

Are they not so cute? 🙂

...then Denver hogged the TV...

...watching The Masters:) Ignore the stinkin' white cord of lights around the garland...usually have green wire with the lights)...

...then we ended the night with a little game of (sp?) Batchi Ball...however you spell that:)

Mohawk?!

Korey last week went and got a Mohawk…having a little fun is all, but I think he was planning on shaving it down to the way he normally wears his hair:)…in the meantime, I had to take a picture and with a Mohawk I figured you gotta have a tough pose, so, Steve and Korey had a little fun with it.  Korey couldn’t stop laughing:)

The guys had fun posing "tough"...it's hard to be straight-faced when you're asked to pose like this:) Nice muscles, guys:)
