Don’t be afraid to show your “raw” side.
(Sometimes looking like a Smurf feels good:).)
Smile at yourself and never feel like you have to put on a show for those around you.
My personality is pretty open regarding this as you can see above…lol…it is what is.
I like people, and you can see the good, the bad, and the ugly with me.
It’s freeing.
Women, don’t subconsciously be competing with other women around you, and in turn, be jealous or envious.
If another woman has reached out to help you in good faith – then accept their help.
It’s ok to let your walls down.
Why not build on the help of others?
You shouldn’t want to “do it all on your own” unless you want the “woe is me” attention.
Men, don’t subconsciously puff up your feathers and be “one-uppers” with the men around you.
If another man has more than you, be happy for them.
Look at the blessings you already have in your life, and celebrate with those around you.
I think the below verse says it all.
Philippians 2:2-4
“Complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” (ESV)
